Just unpacked my new iphone, wtf use is a type C to lightning cable?

I’m sure apple just lay in their office thinking up ways to *bleep* customers off. Does anyone have an outlet that had a type C instead of a usb? NO

Next they will send you the phone in kit form and charge you twice the price for the privilege 😉

It's the charging plug that is the issue, not the phone end.
