Change of ownership

I’ve been trying to change the ownership of accounts as my previous contract was in my dads name so I set up a sim only contract in my name and transferred the old mobile number into the new contract but now my phone number has been completely cut off and I can’t make phone calls. With the new contract a sim is getting delivered but I’m not sure if that new sim will have my old number on it allowing me to make phone calls again or if I’m just to keep my current SIM card in and eventually it will work again ?

The number will be in process of changing to the new sim which should work immediately that you receive it.

You really should have waited for the sim before transferring the number.
