Had no joy with customer service everything they have suggested has failed.
Reset network settings - didnt work
Re-type phone number in the phone app, then network reset then power down phone - didnt work
iMessage also wont activate on phone number.
The phone is iPhone 16 pro max with a new eSim.

Have you got the old physical sim in the phone still @awarby as that has caused problems for others?
Normally we would suggest swapping the sim into a known working phone, but with eSims this is not possible.
You could try deleting and re-installing the eSim.
If that doesn't work then I would suggest a trip to your local o2 store and get a physical sim to see if that fixes the problem.
