Sales man from virgin media conned me. Said would give me free o2 sim with package. After reading info found not free over £ 20 extra. Cancelled and made complaint to virgin. Had my bank details. Contacted o2 told them i had been misled and no longer wanted virgin package and sim card. All cancelled they said, checked bank, O2 have taken £ 432.20p cancelation fee from my account using virgin media details given to salesman.

Did you cancel within the 14 day cancellation period or was it outside of that? If outside of that then the cancellation fee stands as per the terms and conditions.
I would speak to Virgin on 0345 454 1111 and get them to confirm what you asked them to do, if not try o2 on 0344 809 0202
A little tip for next time, always read the terms and conditions before signing up to anything, and to be fair Virgin and o2 do say that the o2 component is charged extra.

hi did cancel.in one week, realised simm was extra. Never confirmed email to verify and accept terms. Contacted virgin media told them been misled by salesman with free o2 sim. Accepted cancellation of package and sim.contacted o2.many times as well. Going to get this on tv watchdog as disgusted with o2 and taking £420 with out my consent. Never eve agreed to o2 account.
