Can’t use internet or send texts on my new phone outside of my house

I have just bought a new phone and SIM card, whilst using my phone at home everything works as it should when I’m outside I can’t use my data or even send texts or use any internet

Was this an upgrade or a new contract.

If you upgraded you can use your old sim card or do a sim swap to activate the new sim.
