Can't use Internet and make a call at the same time why

I have a android and cant use Internet at the same time as making a call why had no problem on 3 network but from goin to o2 just can't do it why

If you are contract check that you have 4G Calling enabled on your handset.

You can check by making a call and checking the phone stays on 4G

If PAYG you will struggle as the phone will drop to 3G to make calls

Simultaneous voice & data is supported on both 4G & 3G techs, but not 2G.

Did you test O2's network before moving from 3? Their data service will generally outperform O2.

Plenty cases on here over the years of data dropping when the phone switches down to 3G

That doesn't surprise me, and I did slightly suspect so. 3G tech is certainly capable of SVD, but O2's implementation may well differ - it's been a while since I tested O2 3G directly, being a legacy tech on every other MNO!

I've been playing round with O2 in many places over the past two years. What is supposed to happen and what actually happens are two different things
