I had an iphone 5C that sent picture messages fine, with iOS software 9x.
Then I switched to an iphone SE (1st gen), and it won't send picture messages. Software is 15x.
Could anyone help?
I'm just using all the default settings so I don't understand why it doesn't send. It's a text picture message (sending a photo I took and some text) not imessage. I checked MMS is turned on, Cellular/mobile data is turned on.
Reception is not brilliant but I have 2 bars out of 4, it's 4G. I think my old phone used 3G more.
Maybe O2 needs to update settings.
Any help much appreciated.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)
Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

MMS are chargeable so if you have a zero spend cap they won't send.
If you increase your spend cap it will help.
You can also use WhatsApp to send picture messages for free.

OK, I'll do that. I might wait until the Easter Bank holiday time is over so it's less busy.

Thank you MI5 I don't think it's a cap as there wasn't any problem with sending them on my old phone. I do want to get the MMS picture messaging working.

I agree re Spend cap @Purple456. I have a zero spend cap and it's never stopped me sending MMS, (I only do it very rarely though!)

Worth checking when you speak to customer services @Purple456
If you changed contract it may have been added.
A zero spend cap stops additional charges on your bill so any chargeable activity is prevented.
MMS are 60p each to send but using WhatsApp is free.
