I can't make or receive calls or texts since 5am this morning. There seems to be mast trouble in my area but my phone sounds like it's been cut off when it hasn't been! Trying to get through to )" is like getting blood out of a stone. Pointless waste of time. Does anyone know why this could be? I'm in the Glastonbury area....

You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

@Jamie45 If O2 are aware of a mast issue in your area there isn't much you can do until it's repaired. If you want to speak to customer service, download Skype to call free: Guide: A Guide to Skype
Call +44800 902 0217 or +44800 032 1402.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also use WiFi calling if your phone is compatible. O2 would need to enable the feature on their end:
