Can't hear anything on the other end of phone

Hi people can hear me but i cannot hear them I've checked speaker no probs as I can hear perfectly well on what's app and messenger calls.

It could be a fauly with the handset or a sim issue.. 

In the first instance pop to an o2 store with photo ID and request a new sim card, if that doesnt solve the issue then contact your phone manufacturer and run through the diagnostics with them...
