Can't complete registration on Network Issues page

I'm attempting to register on the "My Network" section at https://status.o2.co.uk/ but am unable to compete the SMS verification step.

 

1. I enter my O2 mobile number and click "Click here to validate this mobile number".

2. The link text changes to "Please check your texts and enter the verification code here:"

3. However no SMS is received.

 

I've tried to register a few times over the past couple of months, but always come up against the same problem.

 

How can I get registered for service updates?

I managed to get registered going through the My O2 app; Support > Track my network issues.

Still a bit slow and took a few attempts, but I managed to get registered and a location added.

As covered here, and escalated to the Community Manager @Dave-O2 - the SMS when trying to "sign in with mobile number" on the My Network app never gets sent out by O2:

The "emailed link" option works fine though:
