I've been trying to call someone in the US for a while now, I've triple checked with them that the number is correct, I've made sure the + and everything is how it should be but O2 keeps telling me the number is not recognised. They can call me just fine but I cannot call back, I even got them to call me so I could call the same number back but it just won't work. I'm on pay monthly if that helps in any way

@DaveyQueen Just asking to double check, are you entering +1, 3-digit area code, 7-digit number?

You can also try 001, 3-digit area code, 7-digit number.

Those are the only two ways to call a US number.

Edit: If you and the person you're calling both have WhatsApp you can call using the app over WiFi for free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@DaveyQueen

Do you have a spend cap?

Guide: Spend Caps & Charge to Mobile on O2

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
