I’m having trouble calling NHS111. In the past I have made calls to them with no problem. But today I type the number and press the call button and it looks like it’s doing what it should and then the call ends without even ringing or connecting to a line.
I thought it was my phone but I have been able to call other numbers on it since.
have I accidentally turned something on or off.
I would be grateful if someone could help.

Strange. Just called and it went through OK

If you have dial assist turned on in settings your phone may be trying to add a dial code automatically which can make the number unrecognisable.

Thanks for this.
Tried turning it off and dialled again. But still doesn’t work for me.

Have you tried rebooting the phone?

Yes, I did the same thing on my partner’s phone and the call went through. However, when I try to use my mobile it won’t.
I have turned my phone off and back on. I have tried turning the call assist off.
There must be something that I have accidentally turned on or off that I need to change back but I don’t know what that is.

Yes, I have turned it off and then back on again twice and still not doing it.

See if 202 works for customer service.
It will tell us if you have a problem with shortcodes.

I just tried that and that does the exact same thing as the 111. Ends the call before doing anything
