Bolt on bought in August

I have more than one query.

1) Bolt-on bought in August 2021.  In the end I didn't end up using my existing allowance and so the bolt-on was never used.  I had notification it had been added to my account but it did not show the additional data allowance on my phone.  What has happened to it?

2) I have had a long-standing 'spare' data allowance from unused data in the past.  I have run out of data this month but it shows 2 GB of data being available and that I have only used 1 GB of data (my usual allowance).

Please explain what is happening.

Bolt on data only rolls over for a maximum of 1 month, so you either use it or lose it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

Thank you for your response madasaf1sh.

This is much appreciated.  I will try what you have recommended.  Failing that I will go to an 02 shop for assistance.
