Hi,

My sister in law gave me samsung s9+, she bought it long ago from previous owner back in Poland and phone was working fine,  but when I tried to use my o2 sim in uk it turned out that phone is blacklisted,  is there any way to find out which carrier blacklisted device (assuming that device is not reported as stolen)

If it is blacklisted then only the person who had it blacklisted in the first place can get it lifted, for obvious reasons

But is it blacklisted and not network locked to the original carrier? If that is the case then one of the phone shops that do unlocking may be able to help

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@S3b If the IMEI is blacklisted you've been given a paperweight/doorstop. Don't waste your time and energy trying to get it unlocked.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
