Hi. I have taken out a 36 month contract on an Apple Watch for my wife to pair to her phone, not mine as I am already an O2 customer.

she has paired the watch to her phone but it won’t let her log in with her phone to it to set up the data plan as it’s on my bill and my number.

it won’t let me log in to set it up on her phone as my number is not registered on her O2 app.

Is there any way around this please as it’s a Christmas present?

Thank you

No unfortunately not. As you took the phone out, it's linked to your account. You should have bought it from Apple who do credit, then it could have been linked to hers.

You need to return it under the 14 day change of mind policy. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/returning-your-device
