Hello
I’ve purchased an Apple Watch s7 from John Lewis and added a data plan to my sim only contract.
I followed the instructions on:
How do I buy an Airtime Plan on an Apple Watch that I already have?
Now, I see the data plan in MyO2, but I get this error when opening the data plan settings on my phone:
Oops, something went wrong. Try again and if the problem continues call 202 for free from your O2 mobile, quoting reference code 14
Customer services could not resolve the issue.
•iData is enabled
•WiFi calling is ON
Looks like a common issue with devices not purchased from O2. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Just to update the thread, my issue of the data connection dropping on my apple watch ultra, appears to be all fixed. Been connected steadily now for about an hour, connecting to 4g/3g automatically when I leave the phone behind, staying connected for longer than 5/10 mins, picking 4g/3g up when loosing signal and then gaining it again !
thank you @O2Sarah- & @O2Georgina

That's great news. Do you know what was done on the O2 side to acheive this? Thanks

Ive been trying to get my Apple Watch SE 2nd gen to connect to cellular but no luck, multiple resets and no luck still. spoke to 02 on the phone but they didn't know have any new info to help, so passed it up to another team.
I never received the text from 02 to set up my watch.
It did login on the mobile data part of the Apple Watch app but nothing after.

Tagging the O2 Advisor on duty this afternoon, @O2nath_ci - look out for a message asking for additional info so they can check your account settings, @Ladderz and possibly @LML1228 and @mobileappz - that should keep @O2nath_ci busy for an hour or so 😁
