Hi,
I had my Apple Watch Ultra replaced by Apple and my new watch won’t allow me to add my existing data account. It says to call customer service and quote error 08 but the advisors don’t seem to be skilled enough to resolve.
From research I’m guessing the EID of my old watch is linked to the esim and not the EID of the replacement. How do I resolve this? I’ve made numerous calls and keep going round in circles!

Activate Apple Watch Guide has the info on that code - read all sections and down into comments.
Note it also advises contacting O2's Social Media team, not the call centres - either of these will do, and persist on your chosen option:
It may require reset of the eSIM on the phone, so be sure to understand which device you are being asked to interact with. Good luck, @DavidAWU.
