Since I upgraded my sim card. All calls I receive are 'caller unknown' even when numbers are not withheld. Seams to be a common problem, tried changing sim cards several times including 4g & 5G sim cards, tried resting network connections, tried 4G calling off. Called O2 customer service many time they are unable to find a solution. Can anyone please help.

@Maddy12211

The only fix for this is a network disconnection.

Customer services will need to escalate the issue internally for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

o2 customer services have to do the network reset @PEPY - basically your number is disconnected temporarily, and then reconnected.

Call 202 or 0344 809 202 if you are on contract, or 4445 is pay as you go.

Best time to call is 8am UK time.

Alternatively you can call 0800 902 0217 using Skype for free.

Guide here Guide: A Guide to Skype

Or you can message O2 on social media on Instagram https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW).

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here

Also a network disconnection results on extra charges. I was informed that they charged me a day extra but they refunded me that also said there is a risk that the my number could be lost. 02 if the worst uk network.

That's your view and, in the light of what you have been through, it does not surprise me. But there are other UK networks with Customer Service that is absolutely grim, so if you do leave as you mentioned in your previous post, please don't assume that Customer Service will be better elsewhere.
