Hello!

so my phone was stolen at the weekend and I got a replacement SIM card for it yesterday. I still have no data and it’s been over 24 hours. When I spoke to someone at o2 they said something about calling them and something about barring or something? But I didn’t know what they meant. Only thing is I can’t call as I don’t have a phone with data…

It is correct that an account bar needs to be removed before your sim will work, as it is your account that is locked.

Call O2 again and get someone to do it for you.

You can use Skype to call Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
