This is a system generated message when they do maintenance work on your local transmitter.

Just reboot your phone and it will return.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Did the msg you got say to contact them to change networks and they can get you a good deal or similar?

If so it will be a scam, don't click any links or contact them with any of your details.

Why would O2 stop 4G when it is the most up to date technology (discounting 5G which has very limited coverage at the moment)?

They might be dropping the old 2G which some networks are dropping around Dec 2022 but they wont be dropping 4G.
