2 plans, swap numbers

So, looks like this has been asked before.

I have two plans, an original O2 plan with 40gb(doubled to 80GB with Volt) and a plan just take out through Virgin with unlimited data.

I would like to put the number from the ‘original’ plan onto the ‘Virgin’ plan, but keep both plans.  The 80GB plan would then go into my iPad and the unlimited would be in my iPhone.

T/here is suggestion, albeit from three years ago, that this is possible.  Who do I speak to?

It isn't possible

You would lose one of the numbers by swapping

The only way would be to change the sims over ie. iphone to ipad and vice versa

Also, you can't use a phone sim in an iPad as it will be disconnected by the system.

You need to use a specific tablet data only sim in an iPad.
