I get txt msgs telling me to switch from PAYG to MONTHLY I ring up and do so, explain I want to retain number, am told its easy to sim swap (it isn't at all), none of the numbers I call can I ever speak to anyone, IVR systems are inept beyond belief, sms instructions are as clear as mud - how do I get my PAYG number onto my monthly sim?

Even went to an O2 store to resolve, was told they'd have to cancel the contract and set another up to assist?

Joke

* Bottom line is it appears O2 purposely avoid customer contact, I mean who cares about badges, people post on here because they are so stonewalled by the processes they can't get answers - I don't want a badge I want an answer

*Apparently I need to request a guru - or change to a network that cares about its customers (48hrs and counting)

@Pj6

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
