why is the price of data different depending on the phone

Why is 15gb data on an Iphone 11 £26 but 15gb on any other phone is £22?

I have just checked in the shop for you. I can only see one 15GB tariff and thats for 30days. It's £23.

When I put it in myy basket it asked if I had an iPhone, I clicked yes and it was the same price?

I’m due an upgrade, looking at iPhone 11 deal with 15gb data airtime is £26 but if I look at an iPhone SE or XR then air time is only £22, why the difference surely data cost / airtime shouldn’t change with different phones

Different amounts of data and different airtime prices are available across the range of phones.

The airtime plans go towards offsetting the device costs to make some devices look better value.
