Is this for top up or for your monthly payment?

O2 will not respond here so you need to call 202 free from your mobile.

Pay monthly comes out by direct debit. It's what you signed up to?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Don't cancel your direct debits otherwise you will get a bad credit rating & possibly the debt collectors if you end up owing O2

I've tried twice by phone to cancel auto top-up, both times speaking to a customer services advisor. Have tried online as well but on the auto top-up page there is no facility to cancel it. How useless is that? Have now passed this onto my bank to sort out, and they've promised me they'll give O2 a right ear-bending.
Will definitely NOT be returning to O2 at any time in the future. Can't post on here what I think of O2, suffice to say it's a word of 7 letters beginning with w & ending in s.

Even had a text from O2 this morning (28/05/13) saying auto top-up had succeeded, even though I've left O2 and transferred my number to a different network. My bank will not accept any more requests from O2 and will be refunding this request to me forthwith.

You cancel the autotopup in myo2

6. ENDING YOUR AGREEMENT
6.1 You may end your agreement at any time. Go to MyO2 and you cancel your auto top-up services. If you have set-up a regular top-up, you will need to cancel this at least 24 hours before your next regular top-up is due. Or, if you set-up a low balance top-up, you will need to cancel this before you reach the minimum threshold amount at which you asked to be topped up again. 6.2 We may end our agreement with you at any time by giving you 30 days’ notice. We may also end our agreement with you immediately if:

Your bank won't sort anything out. They'll just stop any requests made by O2. They certainly won't be giving anyone an ear ending. O2 will try and take cash. The bank will deny it. O2 will contact you about it.

And since you have a pay monthly contract, if it is with O2, the bank will deny payment. Your phone will get cut off and your credit rating will be trashed.
