why can't o2 supply motorola moto 55g plus

im trying to get a motorola moto g 5g plus, but o2 are stating they are not in stock. any ideas why not

O2 don't stock every phone - but there is nothing to stop you upgrading through a third party reseller on O2 network eg:

Other resellers may also stock it, on O2 Network, as an upgrade or Phone Only.

Bear in mind if you go for it on Contract, you will not be able to avail of O2's Refresh Contract terms (AirTime and Device Plan separate).
