I just got a pay monthly contract on 15th Nov, and make the payment every month in 16th, but today my outgoing calls are diverted, and I revieved a text which is

"Your mobile bill's still 37.55 pounds overdue. We are diverting your outgoing calls to our payment line. to stop this, call...... free from your mobile and pay now."

what is the matter???

Incidentally, I had already paid the deposit which is 4000 pounds for my contract phone.

Ring o2 and ask them we are all customers here.

Normally a bill is due 14 days after it is produced not the next day and paid by direct debit to avoid these posiable system generated errors

Ring 202 and ask

Also deposits are not available for refund for use against bill / returned untill 3 clear payments have been made

I guess you mean £400 deposit, did you as Damien said set up a direct debit as O2 don't seem to have received the first monthly payment.

You need to sort this out before O2 close your account and bill you for the balance.

I thought O2 will make the payment directly from my debit card after I signed the contract, I haven't check my bank statement, so you mean i should make the payment monthly by myself?

No it's normally set up on a direct debit it sounds as though this has not been done you may have to ring and pay the money now with your debit card then set up a direct debit for ongoing months

I think the £400 deposit it added to your account once 3 months bills in succession have been successfully paid.
