The process usually takes 24hrs during the week, but not at weekends, @Biscuit. If O2 were able to help, all well and good, as @Bambino said above - if not, info here generally on SIM Swaps for info: Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
Good luck!

@Biscuit If you contact O2 via social media they should be able to help you with this:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

The timeframes are in this link:
https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number
If you gave O2 your PAC at point of sale (e.g. on line) the porting process and timeframes *should* start when you put your O2 SIM in your phone and it registers on the network. If you were already using your new SIM when you gave them the code then the time starts from the point you gave them the PAC.
Generally the transfer should happen next working day if you provide the PAC/activate the SIM before 5pm (two working days if after 5pm) and the following Tuesday if after 5pm on a Friday and over the weekend.
If the port hasn't happened in the timesacles in the link above, you'll need to contact O2 or fill in the form here:
