I was interested in virgin media, but after a few run ins I cancelled the installation. I didnt realise that they had gone ahead and gotten me an O2 account. I have made a payment out of the bank already but have no SIM/Phone. How do I cancel this thing? I phoned customer services who were wholly unhelpful, and they kept saying that they'd send a text to a phone number that I dont have, to access my account. I need this cancelling now its a joke.

Thanks

@birchy74

Did you take a Volt plan by any chance, which includes an o2 sim in order to get the discounts??

You wont be able to cancel it via o2, as Virgin should have cancelled it at the same time as you cancelled the Virgin Media service...

You will need to call Virgin on 0345 454 1111 and get them to go through the cancellation and get them to sort it out.. as otherwise o2 wont know and will think you are lying to get out of the contract.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Who'd believe it was all the same company now.

Utter shambles!

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
