I recently bought an iphone but as I travel extensively world wide, I need to mainly text from abroad back to the uk. I have seen bolt on's for calling abroad from the UK but not quite what I need!
Can anyone point me in the right direction???
Many thanks.

When you text from abroad to a UK number they will deduct 4 messages from your allowances. If you need more than your 500 (125 abroad) you can get 500 extra messages for £7.50.

Hello,
And do you also have to pay for receiving sms abroad. With my spanish phone I never have to, but now that I have a UK phone people say that that is the normal precedure.
Thanks for you clarification.
Regards,
Federico

It doesn't cost anything to receive a text from abroad.
