using calendar app, it remains silent when I need a ringtone

I have a Galaxy A71 phone, really need to use my calendar regular. In the past I have been able to set up a reminder tone. But with this phone it remains on silent. I have gone to settings and cannot remove the silent button. I have been waiting for technical services to ring me for 2 days, please help if you can thank you
