my phone is due for upgrade in 2 weeks i fancy galaxy s5 why can carphone warehouse offer unlimited  minutes unlimited text and 1gb data for 28 a month when trying to upgrade direct with o2 its 33 a month for 500 minutes unlimited text and 500mb data.

Be aware if you upgrade at CPW that you are not on a full O2 contract, I've found out that I'm unable to add some bolt on to my contract as it was taken out through CPW such as linking two O2 accounts to share the data plan between them. So be aware you give up something for a cheaper contract.

The big disadvantage is the inflexibility. You are tied in for two years. With O2 you have Refresh and the option to leave the network at any given time subject to paying off the handset. People's circumstances change over a two year period.
