You need to swap your number to the new sim: http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/
If you upgraded in store they could have done it for you then and there.

It does sound as though you have taken out a new contract instead of upgrading. Call customer service on 202 to get this sorted out.

I would ring Customer services as soon as possible You have 14 days to cancel if you have indeed taken out another contract. Please don't use live chat but ring and speak to someone on 202

It's looking as if you took out an extra contract which is not an upgrade.

If not you need to call customer services to make a duplicate account transfer, so you don't need to worry.
They will remove the old number you want to keep and load it onto the new contract,replacing the new number. So a bit more lengthy but still the same end result hope this helps.
