Hi @bobski458 

If you upgrade, you have to take the plans on offer. However, if the device is paid in full you can stay on the airtime or take out a sim only plan.

You can buy a new phone outright from anywhere as long as it's either unlocked or on O2 and just keep using your current sim card.
