I was just wondering if I can 'upgrade' my tariff from a 24 month to a 30 day one? I am on a SIM only deal (unlimited data, calls and texts, £26ppm) and use it for mobile broadband. I have the option to upgrade my tariff but was confused about whether or not it is possible, aren't I still under contract for 24 months?

You are tied into 24 months whatever you do.
I recently changed tariff but that still continues to April, the same as before

Assuming you came off a refresh deal you can switch at anytime to a 30 day rolling plan and you will not be tied into the old tariff duration.
If it says you can in your MyO2, then you can. Simple as that.

Just changed tariff and it went through ok but in MyO2 it still says the old contract end date even though contract length is 30days.

Just noticed you mentioned using the SIM for mobile broadband.
Just to say O2 don't allow phone SIM cards to be used in the likes of routers

Give it 24 hours to update.
