Hi
I have unlimited texts and calls.
why am I getting billed for texts and calls?
My bill is normally £27 but its now £49.67 with calls and texts added to it. The whole idea of unlimited texts and calls is exactly that UNLIMITED.

Hello eck1971 and welcome to the community.
We are all customers here so we cannot go into specifics about your account but we can help the best that we can.
The first thing to note is that 'unlimited' is not exactly correct as there is always a cap on it - but it'd mean sending an extraordinary amount of texts per day to go over the limit.
Does your bill detail the extra costs? Does it say calls and text or is it data?
As other members have mentioned, you may be sending MMS instead of text messages, you may be making calls to numbers which are not included in the 'unlimited' list - for example, you may only be on free calls to other O2 numbers, or you may have called 0800 numbers.
If you want your bill explaining in more detail then I suggest that you call O2 customer service to discuss this.
