I have a phone on pay monthly and have just ordered a pay monthly sim (for my daughter).  FOr some reason the pay monthly phone can not phone, text or imessage the sim only phone, but can the other way around.

 

Any ideas?

Have you tried putting the sim into the other phone and vice versa? Do both work then or still have the same issue?

Have you activated the new sim?

Sounds like you upgraded your SIM so it's been switched off and details transferred to the new SIM.
