Tell him to do a manual search for network, choose any network that is not O2, it will fail or say not allowed, after that just choose O2.It may take a few attempts to go back on O2. After that switch the network back to automatic, and switch the phone off completely for a few seconds and then back on, and try to make a phone call. let me know what happends slight_smile

Are you able to try the Sim Card in another phone , possibly yours ,as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault.

No worries.Just tell him to switch it off, even if for just a few seconds, at least once a week.

The signal needs to refresh, if not it will give you calling and sms issues. It wouldn't surprise me if he would get a bunch of sms that were receivedin the last week and were stuck. :):smileywink:
