transferrring credit from one o2 mobile to another

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi. Have recently topped up both my sons payg o2 mobiles. Youngest son today bought another mobile with another network provider. (Would have happily stuck with o2 but they didn't want to talk to me when i tried to enquire about buying new phone on line!). Anyway, can i transfer the remaining credit from my youngest sons o2 mobile to my older sons o2 mobile? Can see any reason why this hsould be a problem, but knowing o2 i'm sure they'll find a reason why this is harder than putting a man on mars! Come on o2, prove me wrong and help a customer.

I think he'll have to use it up, fairly sure credit can't be moved between different numbers.

It can be done as I did it back in April this year, be warned it took nearly an hour via online chat & they ask LOTS of security questions for both phone accounts.

It would be handy to have both the son's there when you contact O2 as the O2 customer service person is bound to ask a question you wont know the answer to.
