I have an o2 pay monthly sim with a samsung galaxy phone . The sim is great but the phone has conked out completely. I am now looking at replacement phones on Amazon but need to know that I can swap the sim ok ?. Any advice would be appreciated before I buy a new phone and find it isn't compatable with my sim.

@HywelIf you don't want to swap your sim and you want to keep the number, then just buy a phone which takes the same size sim as the one you have currently.
I have done this with my last two phones... and those for my sons.
Buy a new phone and make sure sim fits and you are good to go (Using your old sim)
Edited to add. Make sure the phone you buy is unlocked to any network
