So i recently set up auto-top up, but got told it wouldn't process so i manually topped up my phone. To then find out the auto-top up worked; so i topped my phone up by £30, i wondered if there was any way i could get £15 back into my bank account; seen as though i am not going to use £30.

You could ring and ask, I've never heard of anyone getting a refund for this, but as you were wrongly advised the top up had failed I think the only thing is to raise a formal complaint:
