If you applied directly with O2 in my recent experience they tend to tell you if your credit check has been successful or not as part of the checkout process

 

If you’ve received emails with the refresh agreement and an order confirmation that is usually a good sign.

 

If you applied with a 3rd party you would have to check with them

I have had an email of mycare saying that I need to provide bank card and proof of id over the phone but they emailed me with my order number asking to ring up and I rung but sounded dodgey should this happen.

@Liverpool12344 that's an additional identity check - perfectly normal if you're not already known to O2. If they successfully verify your identity, you will be accepted, but not until.
