Easiest way is through the MyO2 website or app http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 but you really should reinstate your direct debit as per your pay monthly terms and conditions.

The alternative answer is because the T&Cs form part of the contract so I guess you could be held in breach if O2 wanted to take it that far.
I've never been able to take a mobile contract without setting up a DD to be honest.

I always thought a DD was mandatory if it’s included in the contract t&c
