simplicity tariff

I have had an o2 simplicity tariff since Sept 2011 and hsve just had a new phone bought for me. Can I cancel the simplicity one? I was told it is a monthly rolling contract and only need to give like 30 days notice...is this correct???

correct you have to give o2 30 days notice if you want to keed your old number if on o2 they can move it over or if on another network ask o2 for your pac code.
