need pin for my sim to unlock on new phone but my phone I had the sim in display has stopped working so can't get pin from it.

If it's your sim pin it will be what you set it to, so no one will know but you.

If you need a PUK, get it here Unblock your mobile device | Phones sims and devices | Help | O2 

If you enter the incorrect sim pin enough times it may then unlock with your PUK.
