so, there was an issue with my old 18 month contract sim, i could dial out ok and text oki used it for one time passcodes for authorising logins everwhere on every thing, it had stopped incoming calls for no good reason, i had set up a new contract 7 days earlier and a sim was sent out for my new phone, So i was told to put this sim into my phone and they would activate that but said nothing of why the eim stopped incoming calls, i was led to believe this would fix that and that my number would be the same, they were to phone back in 10 minutes, in two hours i called back and no one was sure what had happened and was told it would take 24 hours to set up the new sim. this left me unable to login anywhere and now i can pay no one.

i waited toill 25 hours later 2 pm ish today the 11th november as nothing happened to my new sim and of course the old sim cannot been read either. i spent an hour the day before and today i spent two hours swapping sims to two phones as they tried to see the sim and could not. so as they came to the conclusion they were going to send a new sim out, the phone i used, which was a landline, went silent and for another 2 minutes the seconds tick by still contacted then that unholy sound that sinals the end of the call, so sickening and frustrating to be without a phone and all my bills are due and now  i have no idea what went on at any point in time or what they are doing now. and no one bothered to phone me back on my landline. and the automated system and even the agents themselves asked for me to read the one time pass code they sent to my phone? just how out of sync is that ! if O2 monitors this, & as i have seen no responces in real time i kinda doubt they are, its my first time having such stoopid problems and stoopid assistance; Not!

i Just wanted to add i cannot login to my O2app coz of they OTP, as do the online O2 account needs OTP and offers no alternatives; brick wall head banging stuff.  So i am stuck with only a landline and my nearest O2 shop seems to be closed now and te next closest is 20 miles away... the people i have talked to on these 4 different occasions in the last two days do not seem as if they have the skills to deal with this & the noise in the background is defening too,  any one have any more direct suggestions  please, anyone, its 35 hours since i put this new sim in my phone and still no service...

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

When you get into my O2 put an alternative contact number in your details. You will then be given the opportunity to use that when requesting an OTP

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
