If you upgraded, you can use the old sim card.
If you got a new contract, you need to use the new one (and cancel the old one).
When you log in to your account, does it show you 1 number or 2?

If you can get and want to use 5g, you will need to activate the new sim card by doing a sim swap.

Hi. Only get the 1 number, my usual one. It was a refresh with a new plan.

@sarah44

Just use old sim for 4g or sim swap for 5g.
