sim cards that come with order

are the sim cards that come with a phone order linked to an account or can i let someone else use it?

Anyone can use it but you are responsible for all the bills and any extra charges

I mean is it linked to my account, because my old sim works in my phone right now. I was going to give it to them so they don't have to wait for their sim to arriv and they could just link it to their account

They will need to wait for theirs to arrive as doing anything in-between can cause more issues, and o2 dont really provide blank sims to consumers.. 

If they are that desperate then tell them to pop to an o2 store with Photo ID, and let the store issue a new sim..
