O2 sent me a new sim, we live somewhere where we can't receive or send text messages so I had to drive to the nearest town to try and activate the sim. When I got there I couldn't get anything to send.
Called 02 (after 55 minutes getting through) who then told me they'd blocked my account until the sim arrived and they would now lift the block
I drove back to town to try again and still nothing works!
Is there any other way to activate the SIM without a text message? Or a way to find out if they have actually unblocked the account? I have spent literally hours on the phone and now the phone lines just cut off before you can speak to anyone at all.
They sent a fancy new phone because they lost our other phone when sent for repair and I've had months of problems! I need the phone working asap but can't see how I can possibly send a text to 20220 anyway when there's no working sim in the phone??
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
