Hi,
There used to be a feature on the o2 webpage where you could send texts. I've been searching but i can't find it.
Why do I want it? Because I am working abroad (out of the Travel zone) and it costs me 50p per text. I am not willing to pay this routinely. Although I can contact many people by other means (Messenger, What's App), senior friends and family do not use the internet. I want to be able to text them using my wifi. How?
Thanks very much,

You might find it cheaper to buy Skype credit so you can text any phone.

@Ro I'm not sure this feature is available where you are, but Android now has a feature called 'Messages for Web'. If you have an Android phone it might be worth giving it a try. Your texts would probably still come out of your allowance, but they might not be charged for texting from abroad. I'm just guessing at this, but it's worth a shot. https://messages.android.com/

You are charged exactly the same as sending from the phone.
It's just a web interface to mirror the phone app.
