scam calls?

Hi I keep getting phone calls supposedly from the "O2 promotionsdepartment" asking me to text them a code back that they send to me to accessa 40% discount. Is this a scam?

o2 will never contact you in this manner, so I would take this as a scam.

Block the number, and if they call from a new number just hang up.

O2 do have a promotions dept but would not contact individual customers. It's probably a scam

Block the number.

This means they have access to your account so you should change your O2 password immediately.

They are requesting the code so they can make changes to your account without your knowledge. Never share the code with anyone.
